The service
Top of Answers sells a one-time AI Visibility Audit for one local business in one US city. We build 40 to 60 buyer-style questions from the details you give us, sample them through the configured answer engine, record which businesses each answer names and which sources it cites, and deliver a PDF with the results, selected retained evidence and a prioritized fix list. A free check samples three questions through one engine so you can see the format before paying anything.
Both are research samples. They describe the answers we recorded, not what every customer sees, and they come with no promise of placement, rankings, recommendations or revenue. The sample report uses fictional businesses and authored answers so you can inspect the format without mistaking it for a customer result.
How it is operated
The service runs as one application on Cloudflare. Stripe handles card payment, and our application does not collect your full card number. Supabase stores audit and order data. Configured AI and search providers process the prompts and business details the research needs; those requests never include the email address you enter for delivery.
Report prose comes from templates we wrote. A scoring step uses a language model to identify the business names and tone in each sampled answer, and the findings follow fixed rules. Nobody opens or verifies the cited source pages, inspects your website, or confirms directory membership as part of the audit: the retained evidence shows what an answer said and which domains it cited, and the checks tell you what to verify yourself.
The engine sampled today is OpenAI GPT with web search: API-based samples, not the consumer ChatGPT app. The label is the one the audit itself uses, so it reads the same here, at checkout and in every report, and checkout confirms the configured sources before payment. Google AI Overviews, AI Mode and other consumer chat interfaces are not measured today. Engine names belong to their owners; we have no affiliation with any provider.
What we don't do
We do not buy placement, make changes to your website, run ongoing monitoring, or guarantee that an engine will recommend you. There is no required call and no subscription; the self-service purchase is the report itself. Our guarantee is on the report: at least ten specific, named findings, or a full refund. Full refund if you cancel before work starts.
Outside sources are named in plain text on this site and in the PDF rather than linked, and our only outside link is our own Bluesky profile. The privacy page lists every provider we rely on and what each one receives.
